About:

Variety: "Perhaps the world is finally ready for a lesbian romance as direct and unapologetic as Summertime. A beautifully realized tearjerker."

Le Monde: "The love story between Delphine and Carole is brought to vibrant life by the two magnificent actresses who play the characters: Izïa Higelin and Cécile de France. Employing their bodies with an infinite grace, they symbolize wonderfully the desire for freedom that swept through France in the 1970s."

Première: "Impulsive and physical, sun-drenched and tragic, carried along by two uninhibited actresses in a state of grace."

Libération: "The film, clearly highly personal, conveys the blossoming of feminist movements full of militant hymns."
